Scholarships from Saint Mary's Parish for the Class of 2025
Through the generosity of the parishioners of Saint Mary's Parish, present and past, we are proud and delighted to be able to award the following scholarships in memory of these wonderful parishioners.
The deadline to submit applications for scholarships is Friday, May 23, 2025. The lack of interest in our Senior Mass the last couple of years has resulted in the decision to not schedule a celebration this year. Recipients will be announced here on our website and through the weekly bulletin on June 8, 2025.

The following Scholarships are available for 2025:
- Liturgical Minister Scholarships: This scholarship is given to those graduates who have served our parish at weekend Masses (as an altar server, lector, communion minister or music ministry) through their Senior year.
- The Jacqueline Gray Scholarship: in memory of this Class of 2016 graduate of Milford High School. Preference is given to those like Jackie who are involved in our parish retreat team, have done mission work with YNIA, or other parish ministries.
- The Sr. Theresa Lucier, SP Scholarship: is in honor of a member of the Sisters of Providence who was baptized and rased in our parish, has family members here and ministered in our parish for several decades. Preference for this scholarship is given to those considering a career in the medical profession: nursing, occupational therapy or practical medicine.

Catholic Women’s Club Scholarship

The Sacred Heart Women’s Club will be awarding a scholarship in the Spring to a member of the parish (male or female) pursuing higher education or a career certification program. This includes those graduating from high school this Spring and those already enrolled in college or a certification program. Application packets, with eligibility criteria and instructions, can be found on the parish website, http://www.sacredheartmilford.org. Click on the “Events & News” tab. You need to print both documents on the Sacred Heart Women’s Club page or contact Marie Tomaski at 508-478-3639.

Application deadline is April 30, 2025.

The Knights of Columbus, Valencia Council #80 will make available one or more scholarships in the amount of $1000.00 to a graduating member of the High School Senior Class who will attend an accredited institution of higher learning or to an individual already enrolled in an accredited institution who has not previously received this scholarship. Scholarships will be given to the students who best exemplify the qualities of academic achievement, good citizenship, spiritual awareness through involvement with their place of worship, and group involvement. Applications must be submitted by April 30, 2025.
